Restraint system ST2 BOX
EDILMATIC's restraint system ST2 BOX is proposed as a simple but at the same time effective solution to fix both cladding and/or infill panels to concrete structures.
ST2 BOX has to be be positioned in the element to be retained (usually in the top edge of the panel), channel crop ends being inserted in the anchoring element (pillars, plenums, eaves etc ...), Bolts, Nuts, Washers or Guard Plates, to be utilized in the assembling phase.
ST2 BOX is available in 2 versions, i.e. with 2 different overall dimensions:
standard ST2 Box having a width L=120mm
tight ST2 Box having a width L=90mm
Both Box types have a nominal capacity equal to 20 kN, which refers to the single piece in case of application without hollow channel or in case an “M” channel in the anchoring element is used.
The maximum tensile capacity is determined by the maximum capacity of the channel being utilized.
In case lateral-sliding components are utilized, the maximum capacity of the system corresponds to 50 % of the maximum Cutting Load of the hollow channel being utilized.
Channel & Accessory types to be combined with Restraint Boxes to obtain nodal points are the same for both Box versions.
All our ST2 BOXES are marked with identification data related to manufacturer and production lot number (internal order number - month and year of manufacture).
The functional characteristics of ST2 BOX can only be kept by using the accessories being laid down in our catalogue.
Every ST2 BOX is supplied with a white cold zinc-electroplating (UNI ISO 2081). |
