ST2 Restraint Box consists of a central structure obtained from a special steel forming increased-bond rebars with a predetermined shape are applied to. This Box is proposed as very simple solution to retain prefabricated elements, especially infill panels.
In case of special applications and considering the remarkably simple construction of ST2 Box, the latter can easily be submitted to changes, as required, especially regarding the shape of the restraint rebar.
As per Figure 1, it is possible to change the maximum overall dimensions of ST2 Box rebar, in the event additional reinforcements are placed in the Box positioning area and/or concrete elements having a special shape are present, in order to meet specific needs.
In case of structures having a particular shape, it is possible to totally change the shape of the rebar, in order to allow an ST2 Box positioning to occur (Figure 2).
In case extremely thin concrete elements shall be retained, the ST2 Box rebar can be supplied with a horizontal shaping (Figure 3).
Also rear polystyrene dimensions can be changed to fit the rebar shape and/or according to customer's needs (Figure 4).
Any special applications will only base on Customers' request; the maximum capacity allowed as well as the specific delivery terms will be agreed, from time to time.
