Adjustment joint

An easy-to-use accessory designed to allow adjustments to the restraint distance of CLS elements after locking.

The JOINT is made from Fe 360B steel and comes with cold electroplated galvanised finish.
The minimum thickness of the coating = 12 micron (UNI ISO 2081)
On requests, joints can be supplied with hot galvanised finish with minimum thickness = 50 micron (UNI EN ISO 1461).

Applications

The special shape of the EDILMATIC JOINT allows the combined use of two different types of channels.
E.g.:
CHANNEL TYPE E (restraint) with M16 bolts
CHANNEL TYPE D (anchoring) with M14 bolts

EDILMATIC standard range bolts and washers can be used (Ref. pages 29-39).
The maximum applicable load permitted for the system refers to the maximum load of the channel used in the RESTRAINT element

Assembly and accessories

The SYSTEM mainly comprises a central body, the JOINT, that is fixed by means of bolts and nuts to the channel in the anchoring element, and a bolt of sufficient length that is fixed in the channel of the element to be restrained, then inserted in the joint.

The restraint distance can be adjusted by means of the nuts on either side of the joint.

The wing in the lower part of the JOINT prevents it from rotating.

3 – Nuts and Washers to lock the Bolt (1) to the Joint.
